This week in our small-town police blotter: It’s against the law to sit on a clothes dryer ??

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that local law enforcement officials have to deal with issues such as sitting on a clothes dryer, but they do.  Bless them!  Here’s the story from our weekly newspaper:

“An employee of a Ga. (Highway) 115 West laundry called police because a woman would not get off the dryer.  When police asked her why she would not get down, she said she didn’t see what it was hurting.  The police asked her to get down, and she asked if he was asking her nicely.  When he replied in the affirmative, she got off the dryer.”

It’s so much fun living in a place where the police answer calls like this!

Please get off the clothes dryer

  3. Ha! You should write a mini script of an imagined conversation between woman and officer. It would be hilarious.
