Outbuildings at the Chief Vann House in Chatsworth, GA. Chief James Vann (ca. 1765–68 – 1809) was a Cherokee leader and the wealthiest man in the Cherokee nation. His plantation included a large two-storied brick home built in 1804, a store, slaves’ cabins, and other outbuildings.
