Honeybees in December in My Corner of North Georgia

Walked outside during a break in our torrential rains to photograph a pileated woodpecker.  The woodpecker flew away, but I spotted these honeybees on the Mahonia flowers.  I’ve never seen honeybees in December, but this is the warmest, wettest December on record here in North Georgia.
