Headed North?

The Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, a small woodpecker, winters here in the southeastern portion of the U.S. and then migrates northward as far as northern Canada to breed in the summer.  Most of our winter birds are still here, but the sapsuckers must be headed north, as they have disappeared.
