Every time grandson B. travels here to visit, we make a trip to the old train where he loves to walk on the train tracks. Little did we know when he first walked these tracks at age 3 that he would soon have three operations for a vascular malformation in his brain (dural arteriovenous fistula). Now at age 5, although he goes to physical therapy to help with his balance, he plays baseball, soccer, and basketball, excels in school, and still loves to walk the tracks.
