The Lacecap and Mophead Hydrangeas have bloomed, and now it’s the turn of the Tardiva Hydrangea (which in past years I mistakenly thought was an Oakleaf Hydrangea). The Tardiva is a shrub that can be trained into tree form. Ours is a beautiful shrub at one end of the front porch. Not all of the buds open, and the ones that do open have been described as looking like white moths dancing around the shrub.
