What I Found On My Walk Down the Road: Virtual Knowledge

A couple of days ago, coming home from my walk down the road I saw this looking like a giant eyeball staring at me from the underbrush beneath the fence…

I pulled it out and saw that it was a DVD, Boost Your IQ,  produced in 1998 by a company called Virtual Knowledge. (A quick online check done later seems to show that the company no longer exists.)

I’ve seen broken pieces of other CDs and DVDs in the woods, and last summer I posted about finding a 45 rpm recording of jazz singer Ernestine Anderson singing Thank You, Mr. Moon. I’ve just about decided that the boy who lives next door likes to use old 45 rpm records, CDs and DVDs as frisbees.  Such fun!  And such interesting finds for me!
