Torch Lily

My husband said he planted this in our garden two years ago, but this is the first time I remember seeing it in bloom.

Torch Lily

“…Yellow is the colour which is closest to light. We associate the rays of the sun and the stars with it. It is the radiance of the spirit.”

    1. It is pretty, isn’t it? Apparently these usually are red and are known as Red Hot Pokers. 🙂 I like the name Torch Lily better.

  6. Similar to our red hot pokers. Ours is red/orange and it is seen dotting our countryside.
Your yellow is bright and sunshiny, a natural blessing for your garden.
