A little beauty while waiting on Irma

For the first time ever, the area in which I live is under a tropical storm warning as a result of Hurricane Irma which has made its way up the Florida peninsula and now is approaching the North Georgia mountains.

I thought I’d share a little autumn beauty as we experience a rainy, chilly, dreary afternoon waiting for the first tropical storm ever recorded here,

Gorgeous Georgia! The butterfly effect indeed. Hope their wings stay dry and that Irma soon fizzles out

    1. Thank you! High winds and power outages are working their way to us. I hope we don’t lose power.

A real jewel, Deb, beautifully preserved in your photos.

We pray and trust that the storm would have weakened considerably by the time it reaches your part of the world.

    1. Thank you. We had very little damage from the storm, but many people in our area did have damage. We still have electric power, internet, and television, but people all around us do not. Homes were damaged by falling trees, and there was some flooding, but somehow we came through the storm just fine.
