I cannot remember when I’ve seen so many Monarch butterflies in our garden. It’s been several years since our Buddleia, also known as Butterfly Bush, hosted so many Monarchs. I got a little carried away trying to photograph them…

Last year I think I saw one Monarch, and the year before that I saw only one. It was so nice to see our Buddleia full of them this year.

They are beautiful! I love Monarch butterflies. I have a few in my garden. I was fortunate to get a few photos.

They all are male butterflies. You need some females!

These are all we had, whether male or female I don’t know. I thought the males had two black dots on their wings.
