Lovely quote–and it fits my observation of autumn vs. the other seasons (although I guess there is a lot of gold in harvest time for those living in the mid-West?). Golden light, golden leaves, even some golden flowers. . . .

Thank you. I drove by this sassafras tree this morning and noticed that the leaves now truly are golden, not just yellow as in the photo.
