View from the hospital

Last week my husband was in the hospital for an operation on his throat. We had wonderful views from hospital windows. Here are a couple of photos looking north before the snow started. Once the snow began to fall in earnest, oldest daughter and I had to stay overnight at the hospital, but that’s another story…

  4. Hi Debra – Thanks for sharing this beautiful view as well as your gratitude. You’ve had a difficult past few years and your resilience and strength is amazing. Thanks for living by example and walking the talk. Such suffering may come to each of us in one way or the other, yet you show how to endure with such love, faith and hope. May your husband recover from this surgery quickly so that you may have a peaceful Christmas. Good cheers to you and yours, from Francis and I here on Vancouver Island. Sincerely, Bruce

    1. Oh my goodness, what kind words, Bruce! You brought tears to my eyes. I just do what has to be done and try to stay positive and always look for things to be grateful for. My husband is gaining strength each day, and we will have family here for Christmas, so that will be nice. Cheers, too, to you and Francis and a wish that you have a wonderful Christmas. Peace, Deb
