Winter blooms

On these gloomy, gray days it’s nice to have flowers blooming in my kitchen.  I don’t remember the African violet plant and the Christmas cactus ever blooming at the same time before.

    1. Thank you! The Christmas cactus has several buds, too, so there will be more blooms.

What a lovely color. Does it grow in a tropical atmosphere?

    1. I’ve only ever grown these plants inside. It gets so cold here in the winter that they would surely die if left outside. I don’t really know how they would do in a tropical atmosphere.

    1. Yes, they might. I did a little research and found that they don’t do well in high humidity.
