Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be viewed in very ordinary places. I’ve photographed several at our local Walmart. These are from a year ago when I stopped at Walmart to pick up a few things for my husband who was then in the hospital after suffering a major stroke. I didn’t know was ahead for us, and these sunsets gave me hope.

Stunning photos. It must be scary when your husband had a stroke. Wishing you both good health and happiness.

Thank you! Unfortunately, the stroke left him an invalid. He has difficulty walking, lost half of his eyesight, and often has a hard time finding the words to express what he wants to say. But we are grateful because it could have been much worse. I am glad that I am able to take care of him.

Yes, thankful for life. I bare the permanent side effect of chemo for my cancer, but I’m grateful to be alive. I’m sure you treasure the time together!
