Everything outside is covered in a fine yellow powder.  There’s no use washing the table or chairs on the deck, the furniture on the front porch, or the cars. The next day they’re just covered again in pollen.

The pollen count is “high” or “very high” depending on which website is providing the information.  I worked outside today and came in coughing and sneezing and with a rip-roaring headache, and no wonder….

The main culprit is pine pollen, and because we live in the woods we are surrounded on all sides by pine trees.

I love the Spring but will be glad when pollen season is over.
