“Baby, Now That I’ve Found You” was released by The Foundations in 1967 as their debut single.  It became a Number 1 hit on the British and Canadian charts and topped out in the U.S. as Number 11 on the Billboard Top 100.

Written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod, the song has been covered by many recording artists.  The version by Alison Krauss became a country hit in 1995 and was featured in the Australian comedy film The Castle.

My favorite version is the original by The Foundations, of course, because the 60s was the best decade ever!
