I always look up in the fall because the color happens at the higher elevations first.

You are not alone. This Fall is very puzzling! I’m doing my best to find pockets of color. Many trees are bare but the majority still have fully green leaves on them. Just yesterday I heard a man say, “This year is so drab. Last year was so beautiful!” I just had to put my 2 cents in which he did not appreciate (LOL) cuz his chin was already on his shoes. I said, “But! If you know how to look the colors have been magnificent. Last year was last year. This year is this year.” And so it is! 😁

In the past couple of days, the weather has turned cooler here, and as of today I’m seeing more colors. Yay!
