Festival of Leaves 2018, Week #6: And the color deepens

The colors are deepening on our maple tree and look quite different when seen close up and when seen from a distance.

And the Sourwood leaves, which in most years are a bright red, look rust-colored in the shade and have more of a golden tone in the sunlight.
