Because of the topography where I live, we rarely see the moon from our house. We live surrounded by woods in the Northeast Georgia mountains, and by the time the moon rises high enough in the sky to be seen above the trees at night, I am already in the bed asleep. However, the day after Christmas I did see the moon while I was walking up our driveway, and I took these photos, not at night, but at 9:30 in the morning…

Thank you. I used a 500 mm lens. F/11 Exposure time 1/250 ISO 400 (I think these were the settings. It is a completely manual lens. My camera is just a Canon EOS Rebel T3. Nothing fancy.)
