In Dad’s garden: Bridal Wreath Spirea

Bridal Wreath Spirea has been in Dad’s garden for over 60 years. When I was in first grade we had a pageant at school, and I remember my mother filling the basket I carried with blooms from the Bridal Wreath Spirea shrub.

Who would have thought it possible that a tiny little flower could preoccupy a person so completely that there simply wasn’t room for any other thought.
