Writer’s Quote Wednesday: George Orwell


The name George Orwell was the pen name of English novelist and essayist Eric Arthur Blair (25 June 1903 – 21 January 1950). His work was characterized by an awareness of social justice and the opposition to totalitarianism. He is perhaps best known for his novels Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four.
