Festival of Leaves, 2019 – Week 3 – Sourwood

Here comes the red! Our large Sourwood tree isn’t changing yet, but the smaller volunteer ones are turning red. And the weather has become much cooler. And we’ve had a little rain. It’s finally beginning to feel like autumn.

Again this autumn, Dawn at The Day After is hosting the weekly Festival of Leaves challenge. You can see her autumn leaves or join the challenge here.

They are looking a bit worse for wear – definitely a sign that the winter season is approaching at pace. Beautifully composed images, Deb!

When the leaves turn their faces into other colors, be sure it’s Fall.
