Festival of Leaves, 2019 – Week 5 – My Favorite Color

A rough week led to my missing Week 4 of the autumn leaves challenge, but I’m back for Week 5. It’s sourwood trees again, but now they’re changing from mottled red to my favorite color. I don’t know how to describe this color other than it’s an orange tone. I just know that I think it’s lovely, especially in the sunlight.

Again this autumn, Dawn at The Day After is hosting the weekly Festival of Leaves challenge. You can see her autumn leaves or join the challenge here.

These are also gorgeous. They look very much like the trees I captured this week.
