I missed Week 7 of Dawn’s Festival of Leaves as my husband had another stroke this past week. He is home now and doing okay, but I feel I must stay close by and shouldn’t yet even walk down the road to take photos. So I just stepped outside the back door to capture these beautiful leaves…

Again this autumn, Dawn at The Day After is hosting the weekly Festival of Leaves challenge. You can see her autumn leaves or join the challenge here.
Oh my goodness, I am so very sorry to read about your husband. I am sending up a prayer for both of you this evening.

Thank you so much! Even though this stroke doesn’t seem to have any lasting effects, it was scarier than the first one he had which left him an invalid.

Sorry to hear your husband had another stroke. No, you silent leave him alone. He needs you. You can do a lot more when he gets better. Gorgeous leaves anyway. Praying for you both.

I appreciate your prayers. Thank you! Yes, he definitely needs me. The doctor told me not to leave him alone for more than a few minutes.

That’s right, not more than a few minutes. A lot of things can happen in a few minutes. I’ve seen some!!
