Winter birds

Today was the first true spring-like day we’ve had this year. The sun finally came out after two rounds of snow and an eternity of rain. Birds have been few and far between at the feeders this winter because of all the rain, but the sparrows, doves and cardinals did finally arrive to join the titmice, chickadees, and nuthatches.

I only took a few photos of the winter birds, and here are a few of the few…

  2. Amazing Debra. Such lovely birds, and I find one really needs an eye for, and love of the natural world, as well as incredible patience to photograph them. You must have that. Well done.

    1. Thank you so much. Honestly, I just stand at my kitchen window and photograph whatever birds I can. Sometimes I keep my camera near the window while I’m cooking so I can grab it if the opportunity arises to take a photo.
