“But even when the moon looks like it’s waning…it’s actually never changing shape. Don’t ever forget that.” (Ai Yazawa)
When things around me are in a state of upheaval I look at the moon and realize that though everything is always changing, some things really never change. My father may be in hospice care, and we may not know how much longer he has with us. Torrential rains two nights ago may have badly damaged the road on which I live, making it difficult to get to the house. Those same rains may have washed away the two beautiful bridges on my dad’s mountain property. And there may be more rains coming tomorrow. But last night I looked up to see a lovely full moon and remembered that
“God loved us before he made us; and his love has never diminished and never shall.” “And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.” (St. Julian of Norwich)
I hope your father will cope! My father left us almost two years ago. Even we werent very close, I’m still remembering him almost every day and he come to my dreams always…

Thank you. My father is doing well even in hospice care. I lost my husband 6 months ago, and he was in hospice care before he died. May the memories of him, and your memories of your father, be a blessing.
