Autumn sunset

It’s been a long time since I witnessed a sunset from my front porch. But I’m no longer driving to my father’s house every day to help care for him and then coming home after dark each evening. Sadly, he passed away on Tuesday after eight months of being in at-home hospice care.

He was a remarkable man, always kind, always asking others what he could do for them, always giving a blessing to anyone who came to visit or to help care for him. He will be greatly missed.
