Against the blue sky

For some, Spring heralds its arrival with daffodils and crocuses in bloom. But to me, Spring arrives with the blooming of the Eastern Redbud trees. (When I was young I always wondered why it was called Redbud when the blooms were such a lovely rose color.) This one is to be found on a short side street in Gainesville, Georgia.
