Thank you. It’s strange when things flower. Thirty miles away where my sister is living, the dogwoods flowered several weeks ago and are all done now.

Yes, it is. I’m at a higher elevation, and plants usually bloom two weeks later here than they do there, but this year it was more like 4 weeks.
