Another tree changing color

Three days ago I posted about my maple tree already changing color, as if it were Autumn. Today, about 30 miles away, I saw a dogwood tree that is changing in even a more dramatic fashion…

    Hi. I saw your other post, too. It’s really weird to see trees and things changing color already. Yesterday I saw some sumac here that’s turning red. We haven’t had much rain in like a month. Our yard is brown.

      I’ve wondered if lack of rain could cause this, but in past years, even when we were in actual droughts, the leaves didn’t change color. It is weird.
