These volunteer Siberian Iris are in the garden behind the house I inherited and have now sold. Will the new owners leave them there, or will they tear out the entire area and put in a swimming pool?

What is the height of the Siberian Iris? I have small irises, which look like your photo, coming up in an area of my property that was wooded and overgrown with vines, when I bought the house. I assumed that they were native plants.

You would ask me that! LOL Maybe 15 inches tall. Not as tall as Dutch irises.

Most of these are about 12″ but seem to have identical flowers.

Well, I almost said 12″ in the first place. I’m a horrible judge of height. What you have probably are Siberian Irises.
