  1. I have never been able to capture this in bloom. I am looking for some for this week’s Spring Festival Challenge, but no luck. Perhaps it has not bloomed here yet.
    Yours is beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration.

    All of my hybrid azaleas were devastated by the extreme shifts from warm to 01 F in December and then several days of low 20s in early April just as the plants were about to bloom. On the other hand, my mountain laurel, rhododendron and Native Azaleas were not fazed and in fact, are especially healthy this year. I am not buying anymore hybrid azaleas. They are really more suited for the Piedmont.

    1. I don’t have any hybrid azaleas, only native, and they were all here when I moved here. I wish I had rhododendron on my property.
