The once-pink sedum has turned a darker hue… One leaf on the maple tree is changing… As is one on the holly bush… Seed pods have formed on the Southern magnolia… Fruit is on the quince bush… Spider webs are everywhere… And my little buddy is gathering everything he can in preparation for colder weather……
It’s Too Early!
As I walked down the driveway to get the mail a couple of days ago, I noticed that one of our quince bushes is beginning to bloom. It’s January, and although this IS the South and many plants bloom earlier here than in other areas of the country, it’s too early for the quince….
