After days and days of rain there finally was sunshine today, although there also were high winds.  Everything is battered and sodden, including newly emerging plants. We’ve had so much rain recently that there have been, and currently are, flood warnings in effect.  Part of our front lawn has been dedicated to raised beds for growing vegetables and herbs, and the planted beds filled with water.   But the rainy mist was beautiful in the woods.
