We’re in a severe drought here in Northeast Georgia and also have had unseasonably warm weather. Maybe those are the reasons we still have brilliant autumn color in mid-November. Honeybees in December in My Corner of North Georgia
Walked outside during a break in our torrential rains to photograph a pileated woodpecker. The woodpecker flew away, but I spotted these honeybees on the Mahonia flowers. I’ve never seen honeybees in December, but this is the warmest, wettest December on record here in North Georgia.
